Dr. Khaled Osman has completed both the Bachelor of Medical Science, Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Sydney

Dr. Osman has completed his internship and residence at a number of hospitals around Sydney.

Dr. Osman then joined the Training program at The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and completed the program after successfully  completing the fellowship exams.

He has interests in minor surgical procedures and chronic disease management.

He speaks English and the Arabic languages.

Dr Sadia Ahmed is an Australian-based health professional. Sadia is trained as a Specialist GP (General Practitioner).

Dr Sadia Ahmed earned her MBBS in 2003 from Punjab University (Punjab Medical College) and migrated to Australia in 2004. In 2018, Dr Ahmed completed her specialization as a Specialist GP MBBS, FRACGP in 2018 from Royal College of GP Australia.

Dr Ahmed has worked as a GP for 16 years including 10 and half years in General practice in Australia.

Dr Fadi Hallani (General Practitioner)

Dr Fadi Hallani has a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine and Surgery, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners FRACGP.

He completed his GP training at RACGP and his residency training at Liverpool and Fairfield hospitals in several departments including General Medicine, General Surgery, Respiratory Medicine, Emergency, Pediatrics, Obstetric, Mental Health, Anesthesia and Palliative care.

Dr Hallani has worked as a GP in Sydney and rural NSW (where he worked as a Visiting Medical Officer) since 2010.

He has interests in all aspects of General Practice with particular special interests in chronic disease management, minor surgical procedures, immunization, travel medicine and pediatrics.

He is fluent in English and Arabic

Rosemary Qummouh (Mental Health Social Worker)

Rosemary Qummouh has been with the School of Social Science since 2011 teaching in various units across the BSW, BCW and BCSD programs. Rosemary has 24 years clinical experience working in community-based programs with newly arrived refugee / humanitarian entrants. Rosemary’s background is in Social Work, Sociology and Counselling, specializing in trauma with a focus on post-traumatic stress disorders and mental health social work practices. Rosemary is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with AASW and is an Accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor. Her research interests concern trauma and mental health issues in relationship to refugees. Rosemary has worked closely with Mission Australia focusing on newly arrived migrants with refugee status and with Transcultural Mental Health Centre. Rosemary has a passion and interest in bringing her field experiences to the teaching of social work practices in the Bachelor of Social work at WSU.

She is fluent in Arabic, English, and Assyrian

Hi, My name is Dooa, an Accredited Practicing Dietitian (University of Sydney), Nutritionist, food lover and recipe developer.

I firmly believe that food is not just a source of nutrients and energy but also holds cultural, social, and emotional significance for individuals and societies.
